Toward Sunday
We’re so grateful for all of the people in our church community who reached in love yesterday to help make our three Easter worship gatherings possible. We will gather at 6:00 pm on Maundy Thursday in the Social Hall. We we’ll break bread together and reflect on the meaning of Jesus’ commandment to love one another as he loved us. All are welcome for this intergenerational worship. Then, we’ll gather at 7:00 pm on Holy Friday in the Sanctuary for a solemn remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus. (more appropriate for adults.) We will gather at 6:00 pm on Maundy Thursday in the Social Hall. Maundy Thursday is an alternate name for Holy Thursday, the first of the three days of solemn remembrance of the events leading up to and immediately following the crucifixion of Jesus.
