We celebrate the gifts of diverse followers of Jesus—lesbian, gay, same gender loving, straight, bisexual, transgender, queer—in every part of our life together, including lay, staff, and pastoral leadership.
We do not believe that The United Methodist Church has the authority or the power to impose limits on the movement of God’s Holy Spirit in the lives of God’s beloved LGBTQIA+ children. We affirm that God’s Spirit pours out onto all God’s people — All Means All — and stand with the Bishops of the Western Jurisdiction of The United Methodist Church in our commitment to being a place of Safe Harbor.
