God of Resurrection, we give thanks for time away to reflect, for people of faith who challenge and inspire us, for the growing sense of community among us, for the neighbors you call us to love.
God of New Life, we pray for those from our community who are preparing to travel and for the loved ones they will leave behind. May we pause to reflect and to be still amidst the news of the killing of Osama bin Laden. May we wonder with deep integrity about how to best embody your call to reconciliation and peace amidst a world torn apart by violence and war.
We offer all of this in the name of the one who rises to meet us this Easter season. Amen.
