We gathered yesterday for the first part of our Reaching in Love worship series. Worship focused on what it means to witness and to reach in love in the places we call home. We began with prayer stations that invited us to reflect on where we live, work, go to school, spend our time, and where we’d like to explore.
God of Grace,
May our worship gatherings inspire and challenge our community to reach in love with more intentionality and deeper faithfulness. We pray for patience and calm for all the people in our community who are in transition, packing, moving, and unpacking. We pray for those who long to grow in faith through Kitchen Tables. We give thanks for the bounty of the summer & the joy of celebrating life’s milestones with family and friends. We pray your Spirit of peace and hope moves among those who seek employment and those who long for healing. Sustain us as we journey in life and faith. In the name of the risen one who calls us to witness, Amen.
