Our worship this Sunday, September 4, will be rooted in the celebration of our Vocations in recognition of Labor Day. We’ll return to the donut plans we reflected upon a few months ago in worship. Antonio Garza (a local farmer) and Greg Eddy (union organizer and activist for California educators) will witness to their faith as they reflect on their vocations.

Consider these questions as you prepare for worship this Labor Day Sunday:
- What practices and attitudes are at the heart of Christian discipleship?
- How does your work (paid or volunteer) come out of your understanding of following the teachings of Jesus?
- In what way might your Kitchen Table hold you accountable for self-examination in this area?
- For those who feel grounded in their vocation…What are the fruits of your Donut Plan?
