We’re so grateful for Jackie Kortright’s leadership in worship on Sunday. We will continue our worship series this week called I Wonder… While Godly Play is our ministry with children, we have shared Godly Play with students at UC Davis and colleagues in various ministry settings. This worship series will be transformational for people of all ages as we wonder together about the stories of our Christian tradition through the lens of Godly Play.

This week in worship we will experience Godly Play’s story of Baptism. How is Baptism shaping your life right now? For those who have not ever been Baptized, what questions about Baptism are you working on? What do you wonder about the significance of water as it is used in this ancient ritual? If you have attended a Baptism, what did you notice? What words or actions stayed with you?
We will celebrate Baptism in October as a community. We would love to talk more with individuals and families about baptism.
