Series Notes
IMAGO DEI—the centrality of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in our Christ Tradition. While traditional depictions of God center on cisgender white male images, we will explore the multiple images of God that we see when we look into the mirror. We are all created in God’s image, so God’s image includes all of our reflections. We will focus on who we are as followers of Jesus and how we carry on his mission.

Sermon Notes
“We honor Trinity Sunday, Pride, and Father’s Day, we gather around the mystery of divine relationship and the sacred work of reimagining community.

In a world that demands certainty and perfection, God’s truth unfolds slowly, with tenderness. We’ll reflect on Jesus’ words from John 16:12–15, where he promises that the Spirit of truth will guide us into what we are not yet ready to bear.

What if DEI is not just institutional language but the heartbeat of God’s love in motion? What if the Spirit is still speaking, especially through the voices the world tries to silence and the stories the church has too often erased?

Together, we’ll hold space for grief, joy, and becoming as we listen for the Spirit’s next breath. Come
ready to reflect, rejoice, and reimagine what it means to belong to a divine family that cannot be torn
apart.”
