Listening Session April 13
We hope to move through the time of grief & transition following Pastor Linda’s death at the speed of discernment and intentionality. In that spirit, we have cancelled popup worship in Davis this spring. Instead of simply moving forward with popup worship, we will host a listening session designed for those already involved, or interested in becoming involved, with The Table UMC as we explore possibilities for ministry in Yolo County. Maundy thursday 6pm on Thursday, April 17 We’ll gather at 6pm at Table Farm on April 17 for Maundy Thursday to remember Jesus’ choice to gather with friends to eat, drink and claim the possibilities of joy and love found in service to neighbors – even as the powers that be closed in upon him. 7pm Holy Friday
Holy Friday 7pm Friday, April 18 We’ll gather both in-person in the Sanctuary and also be online at thetable.live + The Table’s Church Center App at 7pm on Holy Friday for a somber remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus. This will be an adult-centered gathering.
6:30am Easter Sunrise (McKinley Park Rose Garden)
Easter Sunrise 6:30am April 20 We’ll celebrate Easter Sunrise with an outdoor, in-person gathering beginning at 6:30am in the Rose Garden at McKinley Park (Corner of H & 33rd Streets). Our Easter Sunrise gathering will weave readings from the biblical accounts of resurrection with inspired music, beautiful poetry, a relevant message, and a celebration of baptism.
