Easter Sunrise 6:30am April 9
We’ll celebrate Easter Sunrise with an outdoor, in-person gathering beginning at 6:30am in the Rose Garden at McKinley Park (Corner of H & 33rd Streets).
Our Easter Sunrise gathering will weave readings from the biblical accounts of resurrection with inspired music, beautiful poetry, a relevant message, and a celebration of baptism.
Please bring chairs and/or blankets.
Easter Offering
Our Easter Offering this year will help support a full-time Jesuit Volunteer to work under the supervision of Chaplain Greg Mellor at New Folsom Prison for the coming year. The Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC) is a year-long volunteer program for young adults built on the values of spirituality, simple living, community, and social justice. The Jesuit Volunteer will live in intentional community at the JVC house near Loaves & Fishes and contribute to the growth, transformation, and rehabilitation of persons from various faith traditions who are incarcerated. Our Easter Offering will be a practical response to Matthew 25.36: “I was… in prison and you visited me.” Make an Easter gift here.
