ORIENTATION FOR REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT AFTER WORSHIP ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 14
Refugees flee their countries amidst violence & persecution. They are looking for a safe place to begin a new life. Our church community has raised $4,800 to help uprooted people fashion a better future in Sacramento and we’ll be partnering with a local refugee resettlement organization called Opening Doors to assist a family in resettling this fall. The funds raised will help us to welcome a family that is likely to arrive in September.
If you would like to help offer radical hospitality to a refugee family this fall, please join us after our 11 am worship for an orientation led by Christelle Picque on Sunday, August 14. The orientation should last about 60-90 minutes and we’ll provide a simple lunch. RSVP to Matt here to help us plan for the meal. We have a variety of ways for you to reach in love and we hope you’ll join us for this orientation.
