Who do you want to be?

Women of The Table do "Hot Hula"!

Is who you are now, who you want to be now?

Or are you someone, you don’t want to be?

Is what you wanted, really what you wanted?

Or is it nothing, like you dreamed?

~Mason Jennings (Tourist)

My body has undergone many changes.  For the longest time I never worried about my body.  Then I got married…to someone who is a wonderful chef.  I tasted real butter for the first time.  I had to adjust.  Then we had babies – number one, number two and number three.  I had to adjust.  Then I got sick and couldn’t exercise.  I had to adjust.  Then we moved from a rural area to suburbia where cement and sidewalks made running impossible for me.  I had to adjust.  You may see a pattern here.  Who I want to be changes.  The question of whether or not I want to change is up to me.  The desire to be the healthiest, strongest and most passionate woman I can be feels up to me…but ultimately it is by God’s unearned grace that I live and breathe and have my being.  What about you?
