Ben Kopf began playing music at the young age of six, when his parents gave him his first guitar. While growing up in Virginia Beach, VA, he took lessons with the great jazz and blues guitarist, Henry Johnson. After moving to Sacramento, CA in 2001, he switched his focus to the electric bass. Omari Tau received his Bachelor Degree in Music Education at Michigan State University and his Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Houston, Moores School of Music where he studied with mezzo-soprano, Katherine Ciesinski.
